Welcome Back!

And to all those who recently joined, welcome! TSC is back after a nice long summer of planet-saving, and ready to roll with new events and activities, as well as some repeats of old favorites. These will include the community roundtable on sustainability at Tufts, the second sustainability dinner in Dewick, and working with the Art Gallery on exciting workshops, including pickling and urban foraging. Enthralling!

To those of you who couldn't make it to our general interest meeting last Wednesday, don't fret--it's never to late to get involved! Feel free to contact me (here) or either of the co-presidents (here and here) for information on leadership, meetings, goals, etc. You can also check out our (brand spankin' new) website for answers to all your questions, TSC-related and otherwise! (Although no guarantees on the "otherwise" ones.)

By the by, have you noticed the new format for newsletters? No more plain text media for us! We are jumping out of our pants with excitement, and you should be too!

Ex-College Class on Fracking

Need another class to round out your schedule? The Ex-College is currently offering a course on hydraulic fracking, a timely environment issue if there ever was one. Fracked Out: Understanding the New Gas Rush is offered on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:00, and counts towards the Environmental Studies major. Read the full course description here.

Remember, the last day to add classes is this Tuesday, Sept 18 at 5:00 PM, so act quickly!
